Hi! I am Coach Hilliard and I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade math and coaching girls' athletics this year. I have been in education since 2023 and have spent all of my time in Frenship ISD. Grading Guidelines: Students will have two categories in the electronic gradebook with the corresponding weights: Formative 60%, Summative 40%. If a student feels they could improve a grade on an assignment, they will have an opportunity to correct that assignment for a grade up to a 70 or half the credit back, whichever is better for the student. Students will have a week after the due date to turn in any missing assignment. Late assignments will have 5 points taken off each school day. After that week, missing assignments may still be turned in, but will only be eligible to receive a grade up to a 50. Any assignment that is not turned in by the due date will receive a 0 in the gradebook until that assignment is turned in.
