Last week, Frenship ISD proudly hosted the annual Region 17 Special Education Field Day at Peoples Bank Stadium, where more than 70 students from Frenship High School and Frenship Memorial High School joined participants from across the region for a day filled with fun, teamwork, and celebration.

Recently, Frenship High School INCubatoredu students participated in the Red Raider Startup event hosted at the Innovation Hub at Texas Tech University. Ricky Lara and Charisma Hile attended the workshop and went on to win the pitch competition, earning a $1,000 prize to invest in their business idea.

This month’s Mental Health Minute focuses on the theme of connection. As part of the Frenship ISD Strategic Plan Initiative, the Mental Health Minute seeks to promote awareness of mental health and wellness across the district.

Over the last two weeks, the Frenship Foundation for Leadership surprised nearly 100 Frenship teachers with more than $80,000 in teacher grants that will help bring fun and innovative lessons to classrooms across all 16 Frenship campuses.

Last Friday, elementary and middle school special education students joined together for a day of fun and learning at Frenship ISD’s second annual Special Education Game Day, an event dedicated to inclusion, joy, and student success.

Recently, Terra Vista 7th grade social studies students participated in an interactive “Gone to Texas” program presented by the TTU International Cultural Center. Students engaged in hands-on activities to learn how different countries influenced the history and culture of Texas.

On September 22, Frenship ISD hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the official opening of Frenship’s newest campus and second high school, Frenship Memorial High School. The ribbon cutting also marked a historic moment as Frenship celebrates its 90th birthday.

The Frenship Tigers will play Midland Christian on September 26 at 7 p.m. at Peoples Bank Stadium for the 2025 Homecoming game. Check out all the Homecoming festivities here!

Last week, to honor those who lost their lives in 9/11, Frenship High School Fire Academy Students gathered at Jones Stadium to climb 2,017 flights of stairs, equivalent to the 110 stories on the World Trade Center Towers.
