Brigette Parsons is in her 16th year of teaching, 4th year in Frenship. She is honored to be the inaugural band director at Alcove Trails Middle School.

Mrs. Parsons is a central Texas native, and before coming to Lubbock she was the Head Band Director at Canyon Vista Middle School and Assistant Band Director at Grisham Middle School in Austin, TX. She was able to be part of amazing performances at the Midwest International Band Conference and the Western International Band Clinic while at those programs. Bands under her direction consistently earn UIL Sweepstakes and Best in Class awards at Texas music festivals.
Mrs. Parsons holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from The University of Texas at Austin. She's an active clinician and adjudicator in Texas. She is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Bandmasters Association and she currently serves as the TMEA Region 16 Middle School Band Coordinator.
