Mrs. Brigette Parsons serves as the inaugural Head Band Director at Alcove Trails Middle School. Prior to opening ATMS, she was the Assistant Band Director at Frenship Middle School.

A native of Central Texas, Mrs. Parsons previously held positions as Head Band Director at Canyon Vista Middle School and Assistant Band Director at Grisham Middle School in Austin, Texas. During her time in those programs, she contributed to performances at the TMEA Annual Convention, TBA Annual Convention, the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic and the Western International Band Clinic. Ensembles under her direction have consistently earned UIL Sweepstakes and Best in Class honors at music festivals across Texas.

Mrs. Parsons holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from The University of Texas at Austin. She is an active member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Bandmasters Association, and currently serves as the Middle School Band Coordinator for TMEA Region 16.
