Frenship Helps Kick Off United Family's 15th Annual School Supply Fundraiser

With the first day of school quickly approaching, Frenship ISD is once again partnering with The United Family to help ensure students have the supplies they need for a successful start to the school year.

On Monday, July 13, Superintendent Dr. Michelle McCord joined superintendents from five neighboring school districts at Market Street to kick off The United Family's 15th Annual School Supply Fundraiser. During the kickoff event, each superintendent received a gift card for a school supply shopping spree, with the purchased supplies benefiting local students.

"We are so grateful to have community partners like The United Family that go above and beyond to support education across the South Plains and here at Frenship ISD," said Dr. McCord. "This school supply drive will impact all 16 campuses at Frenship, and it is a crucial piece in preparing our students for success as we prepare to kick off another great school year."

The fundraiser runs July 13-26, 2026, at all United Supermarkets, Market Street, and Amigos locations in Lubbock. Rather than purchasing individual school supplies, community members can simply add any dollar amount to their grocery purchase at checkout, making it easy for everyone to support local students.

Since launching the campaign in 2011, The United Family has partnered with school districts across the Lubbock area to help provide essential school supplies for students, ensuring they begin the school year ready to learn.

Frenship ISD is grateful for The United Family's continued investment in local education and for the generosity of community members who help make a difference for students each year.
