My name is Maria Rosales, and I was born in Mexico and raised in Perryton, Texas. Growing up, sports played a major role in my life, and I went on to play college softball throughout my college career. I am a huge sports fan and enjoy staying active and supporting athletes in all areas.

I earned my Associate's degree from Western Texas College (Snyder, Tx) and later earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Sterling College (Sterling Ks.) My passion for education and working with students has led me to a career in teaching, where I have taught middle school mathematics throughout my career.

I am excited to continue serving students at Alcove Trails Middle School, where I will be teaching middle school math and serving as the middle school golf coach. I look forward to helping students grow academically, build confidence, and develop important skills both in and outside of the classroom.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Buck, and my cat, Odyssey. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Alcove Trails Middle School community and look forward to a great school year!
