About Me

Hi! My name is Kelli Click, and I’m the Broadcast Media and College and Career Readiness teacher. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with focuses in Applied Linguistics, Bilingual Education, and Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures.

After college, I had the opportunity to teach overseas, which inspired me to continue teaching when I returned to the States. I was fortunate to join Frenship ISD, where I taught for several years before taking a break to work for a small business that specializes in taxes and finances. I’m happy to be back at Frenship and excited to get to know my students, help them reach their goals, and create a fun and positive learning environment. I’m looking forward to a great year!

Broadcast Media 1 & 2

Students will learn the basics of television broadcasting, including camera work, audio, editing, graphics, lighting, reporting, scriptwriting, anchoring, and producing. Students will create ATMS-TV News while exploring commercials, advertising, video production, and more!

College & Career Readiness

College & Career Readiness helps 8th graders discover their strengths, interests, and career goals. Students will learn basic planning and research skills while exploring different career options, high school endorsements, and the 17 career clusters. This course helps students make informed choices about their high school courses and future careers.
