I graduated from Texas Tech in 2023 with my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, with a focus on Reading for grades 7–12. I am also a certified English Language Learner teacher. I have taught for two years at Lubbock ISD, and this is my third year as an educator. Since 2025, I have been part of the Frenship ISD family. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction because I deeply value the content I teach to my students. Teaching runs in my family — my grandpa was a teacher before becoming a counselor. I am a 7th-grade RLA teacher passionate about learning, reading, and writing. My family and I proudly cheer on the Frenship Tigers!

 

I am excited to join the Alcove Trails Middle School team where expectations are strong! The learning atmosphere is creative, challenging, supportive, and engaging. My classroom is a space where students can explore and learn by asking questions and diving into the texts we read together. It is my wish that your student will leave my class as a lifelong learner and reader with a passion for literature, and that they carry with them some stories or lessons that remain meaningful forever.
