My name is Cherokee Galvan, and I am a proud graduate of Lubbock Christian University. To my students, I am known as Señora Galvan. I am passionate about teaching languages—whether English or Spanish—and I truly believe that communication is the bridge to understanding in our society.

In my classroom, students will learn to communicate to the best of their ability, beginning with the fundamentals such as their ABCs and 123s. By building a strong foundation, students will develop skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with the goal of engaging in simple, meaningful conversations.

Students enrolled in my ESL class will be encouraged and supported as they work toward the next level of language proficiency. I hold high expectations while creating a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment where students feel confident taking risks and growing academically.
