I am a 7th grade RLA teacher with a passion for learning, reading, and writing. I have been a teacher since 2019. Prior to my time in the classroom, I was a Marketing Director for a company in Michigan for ten years. My two boys, two girls, and I are all proud Frenship Tigers! I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Abilene Christian University and a Masters in Education and Literature from Wayland Baptist University. I am also a published author! We will read one of my books, The Curse of Castillo Bay Lighthouse, in our class.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Alcove Trails Middle School team where our expectations are high! The learning environment is innovative, rigorous, nurturing, and exciting. My classroom is a place where students can discover and explore through asking questions and digging in to the texts we are reading. It is my hope that your student will leave my class as a lifelong learner and reader with a love of literature, and that they will have at least a few stories or lessons that will stay with them forever.
