Frenship ISD Launches Campus Ambassador Program

Last Wednesday, Frenship hosted its first Campus Ambassador Kickoff lunch to welcome the parents serving as Campus Ambassadors. During the luncheon, ambassadors learned more about Frenship culture, program highlights, and campus-specific information as they begin their role for the 2025–2026 school year.

“These parents serving as ambassadors are already well known on their campuses and have a deep understanding of the great things happening here at Frenship,” said Tiffany Taylor, Frenship ISD Chief Communications Officer. “Many serve on their campus PTA, are involved in campus programs and activities, or serve on the Frenship Foundation, making them a perfect fit to help our new Frenship families get connected.”

When a new family arrives at a Frenship campus throughout the school year, they can choose to have the Campus Ambassador contact them for additional support. The Campus Ambassador can help answer questions, provide information about the district and campus, and be a support system for the new family.

“As Frenship continues to grow and add campuses, we want to hold on to what makes Frenship so special - our culture, that small-town, close-knit feeling, and our family environment,” said Taylor. “Having a parent-to-parent support for new families can help ease their worries of moving to a new school, build connections to strengthen parent engagement, and is the perfect example of the Frenship Way of making our families feel welcome and a part of the family.”

Campus Ambassadors is one of several new efforts in a series of “Culture Connections” initiatives that were created by a Strategic Plan committee tasked with the goal of fostering engagement with parents, students, and staff in new and existing campus operations and programs.

“One thing was very clear when we brought the community together to develop our Strategic Plan. They want us to ensure we are holding on to our culture as we grow and add new students and staff,” said Taylor. “These Culture Connections, such as Campus Ambassadors, are just one of many ways that we hope to continue building those meaningful relationships with our community and strengthen our Frenship family.”

Frenship ISD is excited to launch this new program and is thankful for the parents who have committed to serving as Campus Ambassadors.
